Poems Against War editor Gregg Mosson is proud to present the new issue of the journal, "Arts Poetica", and two featured authors: Patric Pepper, author of Temporary Apprehensions (WWPH, 2005); and Reginald Harris, author of 10 Tongues (Three Conditions Press, 2001).
The reading is part of the new 3rd Friday Nights PerVERSE series hosted by Julie Fisher of PoetryInBaltimore.com. The $5 cover is a fundraiser for the Hamilton Arts Collective and Poems Against War, the journal. An open mic and surprise raffle also will be included in this fun evening.

A masquerade you shall not soon forget! Wear your finest and join us for live orchestral music, parlor games, and a DJ'd grammaphone! If you can't bring a mask of your own, one will be provided.

- The spirit writing of Ric Royer
- Phrenological analyses of Ed Schrader
- Wild bands of traveling wanderers (Karla Mancero, Brian E. Langston, Matt Muirhead, Mike Monroe, Alice Anonymous, Robin Gunkel, and friends...)
- A live seance conducted by our master of ceremonies Ryan Coffman and friends
This event is a beneft for Red Emma's - admission is $10-$15 on a sliding scale.

First Saturday Coffee House
7pm at the Baltimore Ethical Society, 306 W Franklin St, Baltimore, MD, FREE (donations requested).
December's coffee house features poet Ron K. Williams, founder of Aware and Outraged and founding collective member of RAM (Radical Artist Movement). A writer, poet, independent journalist and activist, Williams says, "My passion is networking with others such as myself, and all human beings who support arts, independent journalism, educatino and activism for social justic, social change, and community building.
An open mic of both poetry and music follows the featured performance. Coffee, tea, and snacks are available. The event is FREE, but donations, which support the BES and local charities, are encouraged.

Part of the Poetry In Baltimore reading series, share your words at the beginning of the night with the open mic, then stay for featured performances by Brian E. Langston, Jennifer Blowdryer, and David Salner.
There is a $5 donation at the door and proceeds go to the Hamilton Arts Collective.
