Though everyone suffers in the current difficult financial times, it is the creative arts which seem to suffer the most. Friday’s PerVerse Donations will go directly to the Hamilton Gallery which is in jeopardy. The Hamilton Gallery has hosted many poetry events and fundraisers. Please, come out and support the arts in your Baltimore.

A gathering celebration of Baltimore writers who have recently released books or chapbooks.
Join Susurrus Din/Ryan Coffman as he reads from Mendicant of the Hidden, Votary of the Sepulcher [if you can't come to the reading, buy the book here].
Additional performances by Brian E. Langston (reading from The Ruined City), along with Ric Royer, Robin Gunkel, J. Gavin Heck, Chris Toll, and Lady Vile.

Celebrating the Love of Poetry
7pm - First Saturday of the Month Poetry Coffeehouse at the Baltimore Ethical Society, 306 W. Franklin Street (Congress Building), Baltimore, MD
Featuring tribute readings by local poets reading a poem by a poet they love. Readers include Alan Reese, Suzanne X, and Brian E. Langston. An open mic follows the featured reading where everyone is encouraged to share a poem of their own, or a poem that is special to them. Hosted by Karla Mancero and the Baltimore Ethical Society.
