dream koan

the Buddha walks
into a white room

a room, that is
where the walls
are painted white

he walks in
with a can
of paint & brush

sets can down
pries open
with a screwdriver

takes brush

dips in paint

smears
one short line
of identical white

against the wall

white on white

& walks out
